Boulder, CO – February 20, 2020 — LogRhythm, the company powering today’s security operations centers (SOCs), announced that it has been positioned as a Leader by Gartner, Inc. in the 2020 “Magic Quadrant for Security Information and Event Management” research report. According to Gartner, “The security information and event management (SIEM) market is defined by customers’ need to analyze security event data in real time, which supports the early detection of attacks and breaches. SIEM systems collect, store, investigate, support mitigation and report on security data for incident response, forensics and regulatory compliance. The vendors included in this Magic Quadrant have products designed for this purpose, which they actively market and sell to the security buying center.”1 “We are honored to be recognized as a SIEM Leader by Gartner for the eighth time in a row. We believe this underscores LogRhythm’s leadership in the market, validates the strength of our vision for NextGen SIEM, and speaks to LogRhythm’s innovative and forward-thinking approach to SIEM development,” said Mark Logan, CEO of LogRhythm. “More importantly is seeing how our efforts have positively impacted our customers, whether that’s by preventing analyst burnout, easily and rapidly surfacing threats, or providing the means for greater governance of their corporate security initiatives. The list of challenges security practitioners face is daunting, and we’re thrilled that our platform is helping our customers stay ahead of those challenges.” To help address these challenges, LogRhythm made several advancements to its offerings through 2019, addressing both the operational and financial aspects of cybersecurity. These include removing the need for customers to self-manage their SIEM infrastructure through the release of LogRhythm Cloud, making it easier to automatically detect pre-vetted anomalous behavior through the development of a complimentary module that aligns the platform with MITRE ATT&CK, and creating the industry’s first-ever fixed cost licensing model — the True Unlimited Data Plan — so that LogRhythm customers don’t have to sacrifice security because of cost unpredictability. During this time, LogRhythm also received recognition from its customers. The company hosted a record-breaking number of attendees at its most recent user conference. LogRhythm was also recognized as a 2019 Gartner Peer Insights Customers’ Choice for SIEM for the third consecutive time. Recognition is determined based on independently verified feedback and ratings from end-user professionals who have experience purchasing, implementing, or using the solutions they review.
